Initially, do not attempt to turn ona water damaged iPhone.  That means, do not touch any buttons.2. Really, do not turn on your water damaged iPhone -- really don’t try it.3. Please Please Please -- Do not turnon your iPhone.  This is so hard to resist, we know , but your iPhones logic board will fry immediately if you attempt to turn it on while wet inside.4. Remove the SIM card from your iPhone5. Now shake your iPhone vigorouslyto shake out any excess water6. Shake the iPhone again (do a little anti-water dance and say a little prayer too?)7. Place your iPhone in a bag of dry rice and close the bag8. It is very important you write the exact date your iPhone got wet onthe bag9. We recommend leaving the iPhone in the dry rice bag for a minimum of 3-5 days (longer if your phone was fully submerged in water).10. Take the iPhone out of the rice and shake it to see if water is stillcoming out of your iPhone.  If ANY moisture is visible, put it back in the bag of rice and continue to inspect the phone daily for moisture.11. AFTER you have followed all of the steps above -- FIRST, try connecting your iPhone to a wall charger.  If you don't see the charging indicator on the screen turn on within 5 minutes - DO NOT TRY TURNING ON YOUR iPhone.  Go back to Step #10 (return the phone to the rice bag for an additional day.)12. If you DO see a charging symbol on your iPhone screen - a charge is likely happening.  This is a good sign.  Wait until your iPhone automatically turns on (part of the charging process) - ormanually try turning it on.  If youhear a pop, snap, or see a flash on the screen... it means there was probably still moisture in thephone and the logic board has just fried in your hands.  : (GOOD LUCK WITH THESE TIPS.  WE OFFER NO GUARANTEES REGARDING OUR IPHONE WATER DAMAGE TIPS - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
